The Environment, Energy, and Climate Department, dedicated to Environment, Energy, and Climate Change Proposals, specializes in comprehensive solutions for environmental and energy challenges. The department focuses on research, adaptation/mitigation strategies, and policy development, submitting funding proposals for various instruments from Greece or the EU.
Under the direction of Mr. Kostas Vourlias, Director of Environment, Energy, and Climate Department, the department is responsible for coordinating teams. It includes the European Urban Initiative for Social and Green Economy Team, managed by Mr. Dimitris Tsoupakis, European Urban Initiative for Social and Green Economy TeamManager. TheDirector collaborates with OPEN UP members and has the authority to bring new members into the team, fostering a dynamic and responsive approach to environmental, energy, and climate issues.
