Mr. Thomas Kilindris is a Level A Teaching Assistant at the School of Medicine at the University of Thessaly. His main teaching subject is computer science for medical practice. He has a diploma and integrated master in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki and a PhD in medical informatics at the University of Thessaly. His Thesis was the “Development of advanced computational geometry algorithms for optimizing stereotactic radiotherapy in intracranial lesion treatment”. He is specializing in system integration, software development and data analysis. He worked in the private sector as system engineer and group leader till 2001. His current research interests are focused on advanced computational methods and simulation for the assessment of metabolizing enzymes activity. Most of his recent publications are in this field. He speaks English (level C2) and native German.
