Dr. Charalambos Katsidis is currently the Headmaster of the 4th General Highschool of Heraklion Crete and financial administrator of three KA229 erasmus+ projects in the 2018-2020 biennium. He holds a Bachelor degree in Physics from the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and two Master Degrees, one Master of Science Degree in Electronic Physics from the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and one Master in Education Degree from the School of Humanities of the Hellenic Open University. His PhD diploma is in the field of Solid State Physics from the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is specialized in the fields of optical spectroscopy and the simulation of the optical response of semiconducting materials and nanodevices. He had been appointed for eight years as an adjunct professor at the Department of Materials Science and Technology of the University of Crete as well as for eleven years as a scientific/laboratory associate at the Technological Education Institute of Crete. His research fields of interests and publications span from the optical spectrometry and electromagnetic radiation measurements to the field of Educational Technology and Assessment. He speaks Greek (native) and English (C2 Proficiency level).
